What we publish

Our guides, scene lessons, and highlighted short phrases are selected around real beginner situations such as greeting someone, ordering food, taking a taxi, asking for directions, shopping, staying in a hotel, and getting help. We favor short phrases that a learner can hear, repeat, save, and use in a real interaction.

How the phrase library works

The searchable library contains curated starter phrases, useful vocabulary, and practice patterns. Search results are learning prompts, not all stand-alone lessons. Search engines are directed to the focused guides, scene pages, and curated phrase pages where we provide additional context, practice steps, related phrases, and usage notes.

Review and updates

We review high-priority beginner content when expanding a scene, updating a guide, or receiving a correction. We check the Chinese characters, tone-mark pinyin, plain-English meaning, and whether a phrase fits the stated situation. Content may be changed or removed when it is unclear, unnatural, misleading, duplicated, or no longer useful.

Limits and safety

Language varies by region, relationship, and context. Health, emergency, legal, and travel content is educational support only. In an urgent situation, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional rather than relying on a learning page alone.
